Hello, and welcome! My name is Megan Johnson, and I’ve been passionate about dog training and behaviour for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a home filled with dogs, I spent endless hours teaching them new tricks and exploring the depths of canine behaviour. This early exposure sparked a lifelong fascination with how dogs think, learn, and interact. As I grew older, I sought out opportunities to volunteer and gain more hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and ages. I was fortunate enough to join a local dog club( Cape Province Dog Club), where I was able to refine my training skills and build meaningful relationships with both dogs and their owners.

After high school, I wanted to take my knowledge of dog training to the next level. After much research, I discovered a prestigious dog training academy(Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers) in the United States that aligned perfectly with my goals. Despite the financial challenges, I applied for and was awarded an International Scholarship that covered most the fees including my tuition and housing. I was thrilled to be accepted on my first application and soon found myself learning from some of the world’s leading experts in the field.

During my time at the academy, I gained invaluable experience working with a wide range of dogs, including aggressive dogs, police dogs, service dogs, and even search and rescue dogs. This diverse training has given me the expertise to create personalised, effective training plans that cater to each dog’s individual needs. My hard work and dedication at the academy earned me the Presidential Award, as well as recognition as an Honour Graduate and induction into the Alpha Beta Gamma Society—one of the academy’s highest honours.
